The National Mission
PSEB's Certification for IT Professionals project, under the Ministry of IT & Telecom, raises both the number and the quality of certified IT professionals in Pakistan. It offers training and international certification free to ICT graduates and public-sector IT staff, and heavily subsidised to private-sector professionals.
MetaPi's Role
MetaPi delivered Phase I from January to August 2022 to IT professionals from the private and government sectors and to recent IT graduates, across seven cities: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Turbat and Khuzdar. Training reached Turbat and Khuzdar at the personal direction of the Prime Minister. Courses covered cloud, cyber security, networking, Python and data science, each led by certified trainers.
What Learners Gained
Learners prepared for international certifications from AWS, Microsoft, Cisco, EC-Council and the Python Institute. PSEB awarded MetaPi a letter of recognition for its delivery of the phase.
